This training covers how to verify if a heating and cooling load calculation has been performed correctly.
This training will begin with a discussion of the Air Conditioner Contractors of America or ACCA’s HVAC design manuals. Next, the heating and cooling loads imposed on a house will be identified and discussed. This will be followed by a look at what variables on a load calculation can be checked and what is a reasonable value for that input. Finally, what really matters on a load calculation and where inaccuracies in inputs cause the most deviation from the actual load will be examined.
