Chemical flame retardants are present in a surprising number of products around us and have become ubiquitous in our environment. This training discusses the history of their use, the dangers they pose to human health and what we can do about it.
After completing this training, you'll understand the potential dangers of chemical flame retardants. You will learn about the different types of flame retardants, where they are found, and the health effect of exposure. Additionally, you will learn about mitigation efforts and some tips for keeping you and your family safe.
